One of the Kerberos servers had a hardware failure starting at 6:40 AM the Kerberos server scooby.aset.psu.edu (146.186.16.6) had a hardware failure. During the outage, the other servers were functioning normally.
Listserv restarted at 11:35 PM on Friday, April 19. The cause of the restart was the adding a large number of new users to new lists. While it restarted and was doing work, it was not sending mail. We restarted it at 1:30 PM on April 20 and it was functioning again as of 1:45 PM. The large add was not normal and we are working on why this caused this outage.
